ABOUT ME
Tanya Wojcik, BSW, RSW
I am a registered social worker who is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where my clients feel heard, respected and empowered while helping you navigate lives challenges.
My practice is grounded in well established frameworks. These approaches allow me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs.
I work with clients who may be struggling with depression and anxiety affecting your lives in a negative way. I also meet with clients who are struggling with navigating everyday challenges or still being impacted by past trauma. During our initial intake, we will delve into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you feel empowered and in control.
I focus on building resilience, strengthening coping skills and fostering meaningful change.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (TF-CBT)
TF-CBT helps individuals understand and reduce the impact of trauma by building practical skills to manage distress, reframe unhelpful thoughts, and restore a sense of safety and control.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT supports individuals in managing intense emotions and everyday challenges by teaching practical skills for mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthy relationships.
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Motivational Interviewing helps individuals strengthen their motivation for change by exploring ambivalence and supporting goal-focused, values-based decision-making.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
